The Blue Ridge Road Runners will host the annual 5K race series in Gypsy Hill Park (open to all ages) as well as the "Cross Country Run for Fun" races for elementary age children (Kindergarten through 5th grade only).
COMPLETE RESULTS for each of those events will be posted here throughout the race season.

Bells Lane 8K
Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Days Inn in Staunton
Race Highlights:
A field of 31 runners completed the Blue Ridge Road Runners’ inaugural Bells Lane 8K in Staunton on Saturday despite morning temperatures in the mid- to upper-30s.
Joey Capuano, a 15-year-old Fort Defiance freshman, won the approximately 5-mile race in 30:22. Capuano led from the start, steadily extending his lead over runner-up Stephen Robbins to a winning margin of 2:32. Robbins, 27, of Staunton, finished in 32:54, while men’s bronze medalist John Miller, 20, of Stuarts Draft, finished in 33:29.

Firecracker 5K
Saturday, July 4, 2011, at Gypsy Hill Park

Race Highlights:
A record 237 finishers competed in Monday morning’s Firecracker 5K in Gypsy Hill Park, and despite humid conditions that kept most racers from hitting their best times over the 3.1-mile course, several outstanding performances were recorded by area distance runners.
For only the second time in the race’s long history on Independence Day, teenage runners swept the men’s and women’s titles. Matthew Denlinger of Dayton, 17, claimed the men’s crown in 17:14, while 15-year-old Grace Sheridan of Staunton was the women’s champion in 21:35. The last time two teens accomplished the sweep was in 2005.

5th Annual March Madness 5K Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Gypsy Hill Park
Race Highlights:
Despite a starting-time temperature in the just the upper 30's, 47 runners not only completed the March Madness 5K Saturday morning in Gypsy Hill Park, but several recorded superb times despite the cold conditions. For the fifth consecutive year, the event served as the kickoff for the spring and summer 5K race series hosted in the park by the Blue Ridge Road Runners.
